Explore Budapest Walking Tour with Coffee Break
The Explore Budapest Walking Tour starts from the Opera House and uses the subway to Heroes’ Square. Get to know the Hungarian Kings and Dukes while walking around the square with the beautiful statues. The nearby charming City Park offers attractions like Vajdahunyad Castle or Szechenyi Spa Baths where guests can learn about the Hungarian Bath Culture and the Baths of Budapest. The next stop will be reached with Millennium Metro subway, the Andrassy Avenue, the Hungarian Champs Elysee. Next comes the majestic St. Stephen’s Basilica and the coffee break in a nearby café. Enjoy a coffee or a soft drink with a Hungarian dessert (included in the tour price). After the coffee break, explore the riverside of the Danube and enjoy the spectacular view of the UNESCO World Heritage panorama with landmarks like the Buda Castle District or Gellert Hill. The tour takes Szechenyi Chain Bridge to cross the river and visit Buda Castle, climb the stairs to see the historical area attractions like Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion. The Explore Budapest Walking Tour ends in front of Matthias Church.
Please note that entries to the attractions are not included. Public transport tickets are included during the tour but not for the way back.

- Ticket prices show the actual and final price, there is no extra charge for payments. Likewise, if you wish to update a ticket (subject to availability), we do not charge extra costs for handling the date change.
- Tickets are no print: you can show your e-ticket on your phone to check-in.
- Tickets are sent to the email address that you provide when filling in the booking form for the program of your choice. Please double check your email before sending the form, or contact us via email if you feel that your email address may have been misspelt, and the digital ticket will be sent to your correct address. If you have not received your ticket, please always check your junk mail folder before contacting us at info [at] budapesttickets [dot] com. We are happy to assist with re-sending the ticket or providing information if you should have further questions.
- Tickets are sent and managed in our online system to follow all details / changes as accurately as possible. We do not accept phone reservations or requests of change over the phone to minimise misunderstandings.
- All tickets clearly show the name, program, payment ID, address / meeting point the hour of start and end. In addition, each e-ticket includes a last-minute phone number, if you should have difficulties with navigation / time. Please note that programmes start at the hours as advertised. Late arrival for the programme is not accepted, although we will try our best to help you join the tour, we need to take into consideration other guests’ programmes and schedules in Budapest.
