The Buda Guided Bus & Walking Tour is available every day even on holidays. Tours are available twice a day:  from 10 am (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian) or from 2.30 pm (English only). Please note that the tour runs in one language, we recommend small group bookings at least 7 days in advance, so alternative language can be arranged.

Buda Guided Bus & Walking Tour

The two hours Buda Guided Bus & Walking Tour starts from the Pest side of Budapest, close to Szechenyi Chain Bridge and takes guests across the river Danube on Margaret Bridge passing by landmarks such as the Hungarian Parliament or Margaret Bridge. The Tour stops at the beautiful Buda Castle District, where the professional guide will introduce you Buda Castle, Fishermen’s Bastion and Matthias Church. Please note, that entries to Matthias Church are not included. Enjoy the marvellous panorama of the Pest side from Fisherman’s Bastion before continuing the tour to Gellert Hill viewpoint, the Citadel. The Buda Guided Bus & Walking Tour then returns to the City Centre of Budapest (Pest side) and ends in the popular Vaci shopping street.

Ticket Information on Budapest Tickets

At Budapest Tickets we respect our Customers, so we have created a user-friendly ticket policy:

  • Ticket prices show the actual and final price, there is no extra charge for payments. Likewise, if you wish to update a ticket (subject to availability), we do not charge extra costs for handling the date change.
  • Tickets are no print: you can show your e-ticket on your phone to check-in.
  • Tickets are sent to the email address that you provide when filling in the booking form for the program of your choice. Please double check your email before sending the form, or contact us via email if you feel that your email address may have been misspelt, and the digital ticket will be sent to your correct address. If you have not received your ticket, please always check your junk mail folder before contacting us at info [at] budapesttickets [dot] com. We are happy to assist with re-sending the ticket or providing information if you should have further questions.
  • Tickets are sent and managed in our online system to follow all details / changes as accurately as possible. We do not accept phone reservations or requests of change over the phone to minimise misunderstandings.
  • All tickets clearly show the name, program, payment ID, address / meeting point the hour of start and end. In addition, each e-ticket includes a last-minute phone number, if you should have difficulties with navigation / time. Please note that programmes start at the hours as advertised. Late arrival for the programme is not accepted, although we will try our best to help you join the tour, we need to take into consideration other guests’ programmes and schedules in Budapest.
